Upcoming Katina Pinkama 2021

Dear Friends in Dhamma,
It is time to get ready for our Katina Pinkama which is the most merit-making event of the year. This year, Katina Pinkama will be held on Saturday November 6th and Sunday November 7th.
Unfortunately, due to Covid-19 gathering restrictions, we can only host the event online. Fifteen monks from surrounding Sri Lankan Buddhist temples are invited for the event. Due to the gathering limit of 25 people, monks will be served by the board of directors and Dayakas who hosted sewing Katina Cheewaraya. Buddha Pooja on November 6th will be prepared and offered by Dhamma school students and teachers.
You are invited to help with decorating Pirith Mandapaya and preparing new monastery for the event. Please call the monastery with your availability or use the sign up form.
You are invited to offer Buddha pooja and Dane items by dropping them off at the monastery. You can also reserve Flowers for Buddha Pooja, Atapirikara and Sivru Pirikara etc. for monks. Please call the coordinating directors to reserve these pooja items before October 31, 2021. Contact numbers of directors and offerings lists are listed below.
